Mission Statement
It is the mission of Caring Unlimited to work with the community to end domestic violence in York County. This includes providing support and safe haven to women, their children and men whose lives are affected by domestic abuse in a manner that honors their essential worth, nurtures their inherent strengths and respects their right of self-determination.
About This Cause
Caring Unlimited provides direct support and safety planning services to anyone impacted by domestic abuse and violence through a variety of programs and services including: 24 Hour Helpline, Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing and Services, Legal Assistance/ Court Advocacy, Support and Education Groups, and more. Caring Unlimited works to bring an end to domestic violence by providing comprehensive education, training, consultation and collaboration to members of our community including: law enforcement professionals/ agencies, business owners, civic clubs and organizations, colleges, universities, and schools, and more. Caring Unlimited has been working to bring an end to domestic violence in York County, Maine since 1977.
