The Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Company & Museum is dedicated to the preservation of Maine’s two-foot gauge railways for the education and enjoyment of the public. Share Maine's unique railroad history with visitors from around the world, as a volunteer at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Company & Museum. MNGRR volunteers operate the trains, share Maine’s unique railroad history as docents, restore railroad cars and locomotives, and assist with special events. Whether you have a love of history, or just love trains, the MNGRR is a fun place to volunteer. Our trains run along beautiful Casco Bay in Portland.
