About This Cause
Rangeley Region Health and Wellness Partnership (RHW) is a comprehensive health and wellness organization that works to measurably improve the health and well-being of the population in this federally designated rural region of Maine, serving all ages through a wide range of programming for youth, adults, and seniors. RHW is a community provider whose work to create a healthy community is dynamic and responsive. The organization has a proven track record of identifying emerging health needs and mobilizing community partners to identify and implement solutions. In our most recent strategic planning process children, seniors, behavioral health and families in need were identified as the top priority areas for the next three years. RHW was founded in 1994 to bring stable, primary healthcare to the region. Founding directors established Rangeley Family Medicine as it is known today which is now operated by HealthReach Community Health Centers. Since RHW’s inception the organization has grown and expanded its health campus to include the Rangeley Wellness Pavilion which provides physical rehabilitation, respite care, senior’s and children’s programming, behavioral health, basic needs assistance, fitness, wellness services and programs and community outreach initiatives to address the needs of this region. Programming focuses on increasing access to health services and wellness programming with a special focus on serving the underserved and those in greatest need.
