Mission Statement

WinterKids' mission is to help children develop healthy, lifelong habits through education and fun, outdoor winter activity.

About This Cause

With 30% of kids overweight or obese before they enter kindergarten and families more sedentary than ever, our missionis both important and timely. WinterKids helps children in a multitude of ways- namely through our school programs, family programs, and community programs. Last year, we reached over 22,000 kids and families in all 16 counties of Maine as well as some parts of New Hampshire, and this year, our goal is to reach 23,450 in both Maine and New Hampshire.
