Mission Statement
The Del Norte High School Music Boosters is a group of Parent Volunteers dedicated to providing our High School Student population with the best opportunities to explore their musical interests. We provide monetary, material, and labor support to the Instrumental Music Program at Del Norte High School. We are an all volunteer organization and obtain our resources from voluntary family donations, as well as Alumni and local business donations.
About This Cause
Led by Dr. Jennifer Kitelinger, the Del Norte High School Music Program is made up of more than two hundred students and a booster association. Along with Dr. Kitelinger, the Band and Orchestra is under the direction of Devin Hayworth and a talented staff of private teachers. The Color Guard is directed by Melissa Barton. The music program is growing by the year and has big expectations for its talented group of musicians. The Music Boosters was formed by handful of dedicated parent volunteers the school's first year. In collaboration with the school’s Band and Orchestra Directors, the purpose of the Del Norte High School Music Boosters (“Boosters”) is to develop and inspire student interest in and to provide support and financial assistance to the Del Norte High School Music Program (“Program”) thereby developing and sustaining top performing instrumental music programs at all levels. The music booster is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations to the Music Boosters are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
