About This Cause
The Institute for Natural Medicine was formed to inform the public, healthcare providers, and other interested parties about the principles, methods, effectiveness, education, and scientific research related to whole-person health and natural medicine. In furtherance of those purposes, the INM may receive funds and make expenditures to develop educational programs and to support activities such as these: Developing information that demonstrates the advantages of whole-person health by supporting research and scholarship in the scientific, academic, professional, and clinical aspects of whole-person health care and the dissemination of the results of such research. Developing and operating educational programs that deliver allied health care information, certification, and education to the public as well as healthcare professionals. Also, agencies, councils, or other institutions involved in the maintenance or advancement of academic or professional standards to make naturopathic medical health care services and whole-person health more available to the public. In undertaking these activities, the INM shall not discriminate among those to whom support is given based on age, gender, ethnic background, national origin, religious beliefs, handicap, sexual preference, or marital status. When supporting other organizations, the INM will ensure that they follow similar principles in carrying out their activities to the best of our ability.
