About This Cause
Tickets for Kids provides free access for low-income and at-risk kids to attend the arts, cultural, educational, and athletic venues of their community. Through partnerships with youth-serving organizations across the U.S., we strive to make trips to museums, concerts, ballgames, science centers, zoos, and more part of every childhood. Through access, we provide experiences that can spark an interest, ignite a passion, and shape a future without limits. TFK was founded in 1994 with the simple mandate of filling empty seats at shows, games and events with kids and families who couldn’t afford to purchase tickets on their own. What we’ve become is a dependable source of high-quality supplemental programming for social service agencies throughout our region that are struggling with limited budgets, stretched resources and growing constituencies. Tickets for Kids is a 100% donor-funded nonprofit, and charges no fees to agencies or ticket donors for its services.
