Mission Statement
The mission of The POINT is to empower youth and families to live victoriously by offering a safe, engaging, Spirit-filled environment. Our dedicated staff and volunteers work to address the physical, emotional, and academic needs of young people in our community. It is a grassroots collaborative effort of community leaders, businesses, churches, police, school districts, and the judicial system to address the needs of the most at-risk vulnerable youth in our area.
About This Cause
The POINT Youth Center addresses the spiritual, emotional, academic, and physical needs of young people. The POINT is a 22,000-square-foot facility that includes a gymnasium, outdoor skate park, cafeteria for up to 92, commercial kitchen, e-sports, and art room. We partner with 25 local churches, several businesses and organizations, and more than 330 volunteers. Every evening, THE POINT provides a safe and engaging environment for youth to come after school. Each evening, a different church, business, or organization provides a hot, nutritious meal for our students, and our staff and volunteers lead games and activities followed by an inspirational message.
