About This Cause
The Onward and Upward Empowerment Foundation raises monies for academic scholarships; sponsors and conducts community impact programs (i.e., mentoring, leadership training, life-survival skills, and other social and cultural enrichment activities); and extends goodwill through acts of benevolence and philanthropy. The Onward and Upward Empowerment Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Its mission statement is to promote personal, social, and academic progress through impactful community programming, acts of goodwill, and scholarship funding. It is a nonprofit foundation that qualifies as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
