About This Cause
The Art of Practicing Institute is dedicated to helping musicians release physical and mental tension to prevent and recover from practice-related injury, and to perform with ease, confidence, and communicative power. The Institute supports the work of a network of teachers, and trains teachers, who combine mindfulness practices with musical training to develop the full potential of performing musicians.
