Mission Statement

Ichud Mosdos Hachinuch in Brooklyn is a coalition of 40 schools in Brooklyn that establishes self -contained classes for children with learning disabilities within the mainstream schools. Ichud classes are staffed by licensed teacher who are experienced in education children with learning disabilities. Today Ichud provides special education for 214 children in 26 classes. Before Ichud many parents were reluctant to get the help their children needed because of the high cost of tuition and the fear of a stigma. Ichud has established a policy never to turn away a child because of its family's inability to pay. The results have been extremely encouraging
