To serve the human needs in greater Springfield by providing programs that promote lifelong personal growth and the balanced development of spirit, mind and body for all.
About This Cause
As the second oldest YMCA in the nation, the YMCA of Greater Springfield has a long, proud history of providing opportunities for Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility for the youth, teens, families and seniors throughout our region. Together with our community partners, we proudly serve 14 cities and towns throughout western Massachusetts. Our focus includes education programs, health & wellness opportunities, sports & recreation initiatives, and social endeavors. The YMCA of Greater Springfield is fully committed to being VIVID™. Whether we are helping our youngsters prepare for kindergarten; keeping children safe and nurtured before and after school; assisting our teens to stay in school, graduate, and further their education; providing adventurous summer camp and sports experiences; putting families on the track towards healthy living; or providing a social outlet for members of our community, everything we do is driven by our promise to be Viable, Impactful, Visible, Inspirational and Deliverable.
