About This Cause
Fisher College is a fully accredited, not-for-profit, bachelorette and master degree granting institution of higher learning firmly established in the great collegiate center of Boston, Massachusetts. For 116 years, Fisher College's Mission, Vision, and Values have been constant- Fisher improves lives by providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a lifetime of intellectual and professional pursuits. Fisher's traditions and the vision upon which it was founded make the College distinct. For more than a century, it has met its founders' call to move lives forward through education. Fisher has been a point of access to coming from under-served communities, and/or represent the first in their families to attend college. Fisher College provides a unique experiential learning environment, which combines rigorous studies with hands-on, practice rich learning opportunities. Fisher College is an inclusive community that enjoys a highly multicultural, multinational, and multiracial student body. Fisher College is a private institution that unites a liberal education with career and pre-professional programs. Both traditional and non- traditional learners benefit from the College's teaching-first model. Since 1903,whether as a skills-based professional school, a women's junior college, a destination for veterans, or as a point of access for adult learners, Fisher has been guided by a belief in the equalizing power of education. Over the course of the past two decades the college has transformed from this skills-based professional model to a robust baccalaureate institution offering undergraduate degrees in over 20 subject areas .
