About This Cause
CFCS is a nonprofit organization that serves the most vulnerable populations: children in foster care waiting for foster or adoptive parents to give them a loving family, youth who have aged out of state care and need guidance transitioning into independent living, families needing assistance in raising a child with a developmental disability. Founded in 1873, Cambridge Family and Children’s Service is one of Greater Boston’s leading providers of services to children, youth and families, especially those in state care. We offer services to families throughout Massachusetts through our core programs: - Adoption - Intensive Foster Care (IFC) - Developmental Disabilities Program (DDP) - Family Support and Stabilization (FSS) - Residential Services
