De Novo provides client-driven integrated legal and mental health services to overcome the impacts of poverty, inequity, and trauma.
About This Cause
For 50 years, De Novo Center for Justice and Healing has provided free civil legal assistance and affordable psychological counseling to low-income people. Our services combat the effects of poverty and violence by helping clients and their children meet basic human needs for safety, income, health and housing. De Novo draws on the expertise of more than 120 dedicated volunteer legal and mental health professionals to provide direct services to our community's most vulnerable members.
