For over 35 years—how Wellspring helps Adult Education Programs • High School Diploma Program, • GED Program • Pre-GED Program • Adult Basic Education • Reason to Believe WIA Program Counseling Programs • General counseling • SHINE Counseling and Elder Services • Domestic violence counseling • Job search and career counseling • Support for o depression o bereavement. o anger management Community Outreach • Legal advice and referrals to regional social service agencies • Food stamp applications • Massachusetts Virtual Gateway user • Mass Health applications Ticket to Ride Program • Transportation for clients and students • Van provides rides to adult ed programs, medical and health care services, career services internships, job training and food pantry. Food Pantry • Food and basic supplies provided to Hull residents • Day and evening hours of operation • Transportation available • Summer lunch program for Hull schoolchildren Diane Edson Fund • Emergency aid given to clients in need of services Holiday Giving Program • Meals: clients receive traditional holiday meals at Thanksgiving and in December • Gifts: each year 300 children receive presents selected from each child’s wish list Computer Learning Program • Classes for all ages and computer access for those without home computers • Beginner to advanced classes • Financial assistance available Thrift Shop and Bookstore • Shops provide affordable clothing and household items to clients and community members • Bookstore carries an extensive inventory of current, gently used books as well as children’s toys and puzzles • Gentle-entry point for those interested in involvement or services • Revenue from shops funds Wellspring programs and services Volunteers Assist in all Wellspring programs.
