Founded in 1989, our mission is end hunger in our local community by providing healthy food in ways that respect the dignity and diversity of those served. Values:We believe that people should not be hungry. We recognize that economic, racial and gender inequality are the main drivers of food insecurity. We welcome our neighbors in need with compassion and respect. Vision:We strive to end hunger by addressing with our partners the systemic causes and immediate impacts of food insecurity.
About This Cause
Open Table offers a wide variety of healthy and culturally appropriate groceries and prepared meals at our main facility in Maynard and through several mobile pantries and delivery programs serving residents of 21 cities and towns in the central Middlesex county area. We provide a welcoming community of support and assistance to families and individuals, including many seniors and children, and have a team of diverse, committed and passionate staff and volunteers.
