Mission Statement

Shoreline Arts Alliance has been the cultural leader in the central coastal region of CT since 1980. Partnering with local businesses and arts organizations, educators, institutions, and artists SAA provides a multitude of services that strengthen tourism and the arts and cultural infrastructure in the region. The functions of SAA are twofold: Support for internal operations of local arts, cultural & heritage organizations and Community outreach programming with a mission to Educate, Encourage, Enrich and Engage artists, organizations, residents and visitors in the arts. As a Designated Regional Service Organization for the CT Dept of Economic and Community Development-Office of the Arts, SAA is responsible for serving the broad cultural sector within the region and making the arts a part of the fabric of community life.
