Mission Statement
The Mission and Purpose of Zezzo House is to provide safe, affordable housing and supportive services for families in greater Hartford with serious health issues (including those living with HIV/AIDS)
About This Cause
Zezzo House was founded in Greater Hartford by the Center for Leadership and Justice in 2001 to provide safe, supportive, and affordable housing to families living with HIV/AIDS, or other serious health issues. We have 18 two bedroom apartments across three buildings on our Hartford campus. Zezzo House was named in honor of Rev. Joseph Zezzo, former director of the Center for Leadership and Justice and former pastor of the Horace Bushnell Congregational Church. Today the Zezzo House Board has representation from the Center for Leadership and Justice, local faith communities, as well as other community leaders. If you have a passion for supporting our neighbors, if you have board experience, or would simply like to learn more about Zezzo House, let’s talk.
