Mission Statement CATALES, Inc. dba Cat Tales is a Connecticut-based, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the quality of life and improving the well-being of abused, neglected and abandoned cats and kittens within our community. With our no-kill philosophy, we offer safe haven through our shelter, foster homes and managed feral colonies. We promote and facilitate community outreach, education, lifelong placement services and affordable spay and neuter programs. Objectives -Establish a financially sound organization that will support longevity -Provide all necessary vet care needed to ensure the highest quality of supportive care -Rescue abandoned/abused cats/kittens to a no-kill environment, including working closely with local animal control departments -Promote spay/neuter and facilitate TNR of feral cats and managed colonies to prevent overpopulation -Cultivate an environment that promotes a rewarding experience for the volunteers and enhances the quality of life for the cats/kittens -Establish efficient administrative operations through proper policies and procedures
