To assist in public education for the betterment of our local community. About This Cause

Established in 2006, Crossing Paths Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Blount County, Alabama. We are dedicated to placing abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs into new forever loving homes. We pull most of our dogs out of local kill shelters where they are facing imminent euthanasia; others come from the side of the road, hoarding situations, etc. Volunteers at our satellite location in Newtown/Yardley, Pennsylvania (Bucks County) strive to bring awareness of the availability of these wonderful rescue dogs to potential adopters in PA and neighboring states. They facilitate adoptions in the Northeast where there is a higher demand for adoptable dogs compared with in the South. Once adopted, our dogs are transported every 2-3 weeks to various locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia, and sometimes the van driver makes stops along the way. Crossing Paths regularly sponsors adoption events at local pet stores in which they bring up ready-to-adopt dogs of various ages, breeds, and sizes. These events give you and your family the opportunity to meet the dogs prior to onsite adoption. Please check our Events page for more information and upcoming events.
