Firelight Media is the premier destination for nonfiction media by and bout communities of color. Firelight produces documentaries, supports filmmakers of color, and cultivates audiences for their work.
About This Cause
Firelight Media supports emerging and mid-career filmmakers of color through grants, fellowships, and project support, and conducts effective audience and community engagement and impact campaigns. For over ten years Firelight Media has offered free documentary screenings to diverse audiences in community arts venues located in NYC as well as online documentary screening and discussion presentations accessed by thousands of viewers across the United States.
