Mission Statement
Top Dog Foundation's mission is to provide a loving and permanent home for dogs deemed "un-adoptable" because of age and health that would otherwise be unnecessarily euthanized.
About This Cause
Top Dog Foundation provides a Second Act for "ElderPups". Programs include: A Home For Every Aging Heart - Our adoption program . . . The rescue, rehabilitation, fostering and placement of senior dogs with senior people - "saving them both" by helping them find one another. Hoover's Taxi Network . . . We help senior citizens not have to say goodbye to their beloved dogs when they are forced to move to assisted living. Volunteers ferry the dogs to visit their senior people in assisted living. Dogs & Angels . . . Pet trusts help people plan for when they can no longer care for their dogs, allowing them to continue to have canine companions into their senior years, with the comfort of knowing they will be cared for should the dogs outlive them. The Sanctuary - Bentley's Place - A permanent home for senior dogs with treatable health issues . . . those deemed un-adoptable . . . not a shelter but a sanctuary . . . the first of its kind and a wonderful setting for dogs to live out their golden years.
