Mission Statement

Rabbi Stephen Wise, founder of the Free Synagogue Movement started our Synagogue in 1907. The ECC was started in 1949. We demonstrate our commitment to "tikun olam"- repair of the world, through worship, educational programs, projects and activities including meaningful and continuing social service and action. Common interests of cherishing the Jewish faith, traditions and practice of Reform Judaism and supporting the people and State of Israel personifies the strength of our membership.
