ROBERT F KENNEDY CENTER FOR JUSTICE AND HUMAN RIGHTS

New York, New York, 10005 United States

Mission Statement

Our mission is to realize Robert Kennedy’s dream of a more just and peaceful world. Since 1968, our team of leading attorneys, issue experts, advocates, entrepreneurs, and writers have been united by a commitment to equality and social justice.

About This Cause

The Robert F. Kennedy Memorial was founded in 1968, in Washington, DC. The Kennedy family, with friends and supporters, decided to memorialize Robert F. Kennedy’s lifetime of public service and commitment to social justice by creating a living memorial in his name. The organization, now called Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, was built on a simple premise: Honor Robert F. Kennedy’s legacy through addressing issues of social justice and human rights around the globe and here at home. Now led by human rights lawyer and activist Kerry Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights has worked to advance the social, economic, and racial justice he envisioned for all people. We advocate for key human rights issues, pursuing strategic litigation to hold governments accountable at home and around the world. We champion the changemakers who inspire human rights defenders everywhere. We engage businesses, working to help them align with human rights norms. And to ensure change that lasts, we educate millions of students about human rights, training the next generation of leaders. We hope you will join us as we follow Robert Kennedy's call to make gentler the life of this world.
