Mission Statement
The theater was founded in 1968 with the aspiration to be a leading American theater by producing an unparalleled repertoire of excellent and relevant contemporary and classical plays from Spain, Latin America and the Hispanic-American community; and to instill a sense of pride of heritage for all Latinos in the United States as well as create opportunities for cultural exchange with all Americans.
