The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center is a nonprofit, federally qualified community health center established in 1971. Our mission is to provide high quality and affordable health care to the underserved, with a focus on Asian Americans.

About This Cause

The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center recognized as Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by NCQA, CBWCHC is a federally qualified health center which provides comprehensive primary care and support services to medically underserved Asian Americans and other vulnerable populations in the New York metropolitan area. The Health Center has continuously expanded and grown to provide bilingual and bicultural healthcare services to underserved communities. Operating out of several sites in Manhattan and Queens, we provides adult medicine and preventive care, pediatric care, ob/gyn, dental care, mental health, social services, health education, and specialty services to more than 53,000 patients per year. We open 7 days a week and have staff fluent in many languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Taishanese, Shanghainese, Fujianese, Vietnamese, and Korean.
