Mission Statement
The American Society for Yad Vashem supports Yad Vashem’s efforts in areas of commemoration, education research, capital improvement and special projects. The responsibility of the American Society for Yad Vashem also includes the obligation to pay tribute to the memory of all victims of the Holocaust and to honor those who perished and those who survived.
About This Cause
The American Society for Yad Vashem (ASYV) was established in 1981 by a group of Holocaust Survivors, spearheaded by Eli Zborowski z”l. Our mission is to preserve the legacy of the victims and survivors of the Shoah through research, education, publications, exhibitions and philanthropy.
