Mission Statement
Silver Shield Foundation provides educational support for children and surviving spouses of police officers, firefighters and EMS members killed in the line of duty.
About This Cause
Covered under the Silver Shield Foundation's caring wing are the children and spouses of firefighters, EMS members and police officers who make the ultimate sacrifice. The Fire Department of the City of New York; Police Department of the City of New York; Port Authority of New York/ New Jersey Police Department; New York, New Jersey and Connecticut State Police and all police departments on Long Island and in Connecticut fall under this umbrella.
