Mission Statement
The HCHS PTA is a voluntary organization. Led by a Board comprised of 17 elected parent members, the PTA, through its many committees, provides a voice for parents on school-related issues and sponsors informational, social and fundraising events to help support the school. The PTA is a major and critical source of funding for the school.
About This Cause
Hunter College High School Parent Teacher Association serves as an advocate for the education and general welfare of students attending Hunter College High School (HCHS); fosters communication and cooperation among the parents and the faculty, administration, students and alumni of HCHS; fosters optimum parent involvement in activities to support HCHS; promotes and celebrates harmony among the many cultures of the HCHS community; and solicits and coordinates the administration of parent resources in support of HCHS.
