Mission Statement
The Fantasy Fountain Fund, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation established in 1984 to promote and support education in the arts, specifically the art of sculpture.
About This Cause
Since its inception, the Fund has fostered countless art students through its apprenticeships, workshops, scholarships, exhibitions and temporary and permanent installations. Many students enrolled in the Fund's programs over the years now enjoy successful careers in the arts. The Fund maintains the "Peace Fountain" Sculpture Garden on the grounds of the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine. Created in 1985 by Fund president and sculptor Greg Wyatt, the garden is dedicated to the creativity of children. It was only fitting for school children to be invited to contribute their artistic talents to the creation of the "Animals of Freedom" children's sculpture garden, comprised of 120 miniature bronze sculptures, which surrounds the "Peace Fountain" monument. The Fund and its volunteers help preserve the garden and make it a perfect setting for contemplation, meditation, or simple relaxation.
