Mission Statement
To improve the quality of life throughout the Upper Susquehanna region of New York State by working with landowners and partners to protect and conserve local farmland, forests, and waterways in perpetuity.
About This Cause
Otsego Land Trust builds climate resiliency in the Otsego region of Central New York and the Upper Susquehanna watershed, working with private landowners, local businesses, and community partners to create a legacy of sustainable agriculture, healthy forests, and clean water for future generations. Since 1988, Otsego Land Trust has secured conservation easements on more than 12,000 acres of private land and manages another 560 acres of conservation land for public use.
