Mission Statement
The mission of the the Frances Pope Memorial Foundation is to offer hope, aid and support families of children suffering from life threatening diseases including all forms of cancer and related chronic/debilitating diseases, by providing financial assistance for the payment hidden costs, not covered by funds covered by or insurance available through the private or public domain.
About This Cause
The money we raise helps to pay expenses associated with caring for children with cancer that are NOT covered by insurance and we make every effort to respond to the unique needs of each individual family. Expenses can include travel, accommodations and living costs for families receiving medical care when away from home. In some cases, we pay for other costs to ensure families can continue to make ends meet, such as childcare for siblings, or even car or mortgage payments. We try to minimize the burden of paperwork, we are quick to respond and we stick with our families through the duration of their child’s illness.
