The objectives of this Trust are to generate charitable donations for helping in the treatment of cancer in 3rd World countries, and more specifically, the establishment of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center located in Lahore, Pakistan. This is a non-profit institution, developed as a State-of-the Art tertiary care, charitable Hospital catering to all segments of society without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, national origin, or sex, and treating patients without regard to ability to pay.

Additionally, the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust has been established specifically to handle and administer the Imran Khan Cancer Appeal account. An office of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust has been established in Farmington, Connecticut, USA. Specific goals include the following: 1. Initiate charitable Fund Raising Activities. 2. Recruit qualified professional and non-professional staff and expenses for the office in Farmington, Connecticut. 3. Supply financial support for payment of medicines, drugs, and diagnostic and therapeutic equipment of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center. 4. Assist in the recruitment of all medical and ancillary personnel for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center.
