Mission Statement

Our mission is to understand the causes of Alzheimer’s disease, improve the care of people living with it, and find a cure.

About This Cause

Since 1995, the Fisher Center Foundation has been committed to uncovering the causes of Alzheimer’s disease, improving the care of those affected by it, and finding a cure. We fund laboratories and clinical programs at The Rockefeller University, New York University, and the Imagine Institute in Paris, France -- all of which are performing groundbreaking research that holds the promise of stopping this horrible disease in its tracks. Additionally, the Foundation is passionate about Alzheimer's education and awareness. Our website (www.ALZinfo.org), award-winning magazine (Preserving Your Memory), and e-newsletter offer helpful resources for anyone navigating the Alzheimer's journey. The Foundation regularly earns top four-star ratings from Charity Navigator, America's largest independent charity evaluator. It has also received the Gold Seal of Transparency from Candid’s GuideStar, placing us in the top 1% of charities nationwide. Ultimately, our vision is working towards a future where Alzheimer’s is nothing but a memory!
