About This Cause

SPARC is a small non-profit clinic dedicated to working with children, adolescents and adults on the autism spectrum and/or with other behavioral challenges. SPARC uses only empirically (based on observation rather than theory) validated treatments. We offer a variety of services: Evaluation and treatment of feeding problems, diagnostic evaluations, social skills classes, a pre-education/behavioral program, behavior management, young adult services, and consultations. We work with our patients in the clinic, as well as at home, school, and community. We have many specialized programs and focus very heavy on the generalization of treatment gains to the child’s real life, outside of the therapy setting. We have established successful working relationships with many provider and schools in the area, including CHOP and DuPont. Additionally, SPARC serves as a teaching clinic, working with undergrad and graduate students - from West Chester University, Temple, and other local universities - offering internship opportunities and field experience.
