About This Cause
Catholic Relief Services is the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. Founded in 1943, CRS saves, protects and transforms lives in more than 100 countries, without regard to race, religion or nationality. We are called to address the root causes and effects of poverty, promote the sacredness and dignity of human life, and help build more just and peaceful societies outside the United States. Our relief and development work is accomplished through programs of emergency response, HIV, health, agriculture, education, microfinance and peacebuilding.
