Mission Statement

To create financial relationships that are direct, transparent, personal and focused on long-term social, economic and ecological benefit.

About This Cause

RSF Social Finance creates the unique conditions for transformation with thoughtful investors, donors, and entrepreneurs. We’re connecting people and hundreds of for-profit and non-profit social enterprises to help organizations succeed and thrive and create new systems and relationships that heal and improve the world. RSF Social Finance is a non-profit financial services organization that offers opportunities for investors, donors, and entrepreneurs to aligns their money with their values. We seek to create financial relationships that are direct, transparent, personal, and based on long-term relationships focused on long-term social, ecological, and economic benefit. We do this in three ways: offering investors and donors dynamic ways to align their money with their values; connecting entrepreneurs with diverse forms of capital, and empowering leaders and advancing innovations in the field of social finance. RSF works to empower leaders and build the field of social finance through our Integrated Capital Institute. The institute is a nine-month program centered around three in-person training intensives, access to one-on-one expert advisors, peer coaching, case studies, webinars, and independent study. The institute prepares existing and aspiring practitioners to activate the positive potential of capital. Fellows learn alongside a group of experts in the field who are leveraging capital with an integrated and strategic approach to effect an articulated social mission. They learn how to structure complex financial transactions and implement effective integrated capital strategies. Fellows also gain an essential understanding of the mindset and culture needed to support the fundamental re-thinking of the purpose of wealth. The curriculum is grounded in the understanding that we live in an outdated economic system with damaging side effects. Fellows explore their relationship with money, reach a deeper understanding of wealth psychology, and gain expertise in whole portfolio activation.
