Mission Statement
"The mission of the Maine Jewish Museum is to honor the contributions and diversity of Maine's Jewish immigrants in the context of the American experience. Through exhibits and programming, the Museum seeks to build bridges of appreciation and understanding with people of all backgrounds."
About This Cause
The museum is a statewide institution which celebrates the lives of those Maine Jews whose work and lives have brought distinction and honor to the State of Maine or beyond and whose lives strongly reflect the Jewish value of Tikum Olum, making the world a better place, through outstanding accomplishments and/or humanitarian or philanthropic endeavors.
