Heartland Animal Shelter, is a no kill, not for profit animal shelter in Northbrook, Illinois. We find homes for over 600 homeless cats, kittens, puppies and dogs each year.

About This Cause

Our Mission: To find permanent, loving homes for homeless animals and promote responsible pet ownership through education, community outreach and collaboration while maintaining respect and compassion for all creatures.
