Our mission is to inspire communities to care for Hawai`i by perpetuating conservation, culture, and sustainability through education.
About This Cause
Malama Learning Center was founded in 2004 to serve West Oahu communities by providing hands-on, place-based environmental education. We collaborate with partners to offer field-based service learning, short-term courses, workshops, professional development, and educational videos. We serve communities primarily from Waipahu to Waianae to grow healthy plants, people, and places. We also have a statewide television show, Outside Hawaii, amplifying our work and that of our many partners.
