Mission Statement
At the Geysers, we believe that competitive swimming is a great way for kids in our community to spend their summer hours. Our kids learn good sportsmanship, team pride and great swimming skills while competing in a fun, safe and relaxed atmosphere where every swimmer is encouraged to do their personal best. We aim to provide a positive, encouraging, and challenging atmosphere in which all swimmers, regardless of ability, may improve their skills Do we want to win? Yes! But let’s have fun while we do it!
About This Cause
A dedicated group of parent volunteers founded the Greatwood Geysers Swim Team in 2003. With little prior swim team experience but lots of heart, we muddled through our first season, and have since learned the ropes of operating a superior summer swim team program for the children in our community. Our current team is made up of 200 swimmers from every age group, including many of the original members of the 2003 team. We look forward to many more years of summer fun!
