Mission Statement
The ACE Mentor Program’s mission is to engage, excite and enlighten high school students to pursue careers in architecture, construction, and engineering. One critical aspect of achieving this goal is to appeal to, and mentor, minority and female students.
About This Cause
ACE Mentor Summer Camp top goal is to excite high school students about the many careers in the integrated construction industry – architecture, engineering, construction management and related trades. ACE realizes this goal by involving students in workshops and field trips and engaging them in a realistic process of designing a project and planning its construction. ACE develops learning objectives to provide students with knowledge and skills. Knowledge gained are the fundamental processes of designing and building a structure. They acquire two sets of skills- first related to the design/ construction industry and second pertaining to the workplace and life.
