About This Cause
Lonestar Soccer Club (LSC) is a locally grown, nationally recognized nonprofit youth soccer organization. We fill a great community need by providing competitive opportunities to soccer players of all levels from 4 to 19+ years of age from Temple to San Antonio and throughout Central Texas. In 2025, we served 12,000 players. We promote a love for the beautiful game and develop players who exhibit key core skills, abilities, values, and life lessons like how to handle pressure, work together as a team, come back from failure or mistakes, be committed and disciplined, etc that allow for the best opportunity to succeed as they grow both on and off the field. We provide opportunities for youth to utilize soccer as mechanism through which they can open pathways to higher education. Regardless of skill level, we are committed to improving and changing the lives of every player who wears the Lonestar jersey. Financial Aid / Impact -- Every player should have the opportunity to play soccer, regardless of who they are, where they live, where they are from, or their financial situation. Inclusivity is a cornerstone of Lonestar, which is why we gave $625,000 in financial aid in 2024. We will never turn away a family because of financial barriers. We are incredibly proud to meet every family where they are and ensure that they are never prohibited from competing due to finances. Our ability to give financial aid at this scale is due to our partnerships with like minded individuals, organizations, and businesses. In 20+ years that LSC has been in existence, thousands of players have entered into and graduated from our program. We hope to serve thousands more in the next 20 years!
