The Baltimore Improv Group’s mission is to create BIG connections within broad communities, teaching people of all ages and backgrounds how to improvise their way out of challenging circumstances and embrace the unknown with comedy and courage.
About This Cause
The Baltimore Improv Group (BIG) advances the art and appreciation of comedy improv in the Baltimore region through enthusiastic participation and education. By offering classes, workshops, and shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, we're here to help Baltimore love what we love: Improv! At BIG, we promote the values of: Yes And Make Others Look Like Geniuses A Group is Greater Than the Sum of its Parts Diversity & Inclusion The Baltimore Improv Group was established by Mike Subelsky in 2004 to spread the joy of improv comedy. In the years since BIG has grown to over 100 performers, taught thousands of kids and adults how to improvise, produced thousands of live shows, and entertained tens of thousands of attendees.
