Mission Statement
Magen David Synagogue is a 501C non-profit organization which was established to serve the needs of the Middle Eastern Jewish community of Brooklyn New York.
About This Cause
Our mission is to maintain a place of worship in accordance with the Orthodox Hebrew Jewish faith based on Sephardic Jewish tradition. In addition to being a place of worship congregants are encouraged to take advantage of the many classes offered in all aspects of the Jewish Faith so that they may increase their knowledge of Torah and Mitzvot thereby living their lives through the lens of Torah. Social functions geared towards strengthening community bonds are also an important part of our service to the congregants. All functions and activities of this congregation adhere to the dictates of the Written and Oral Torah, the Shulchan Aruch and Poskim, and in accordance with the Sephardic laws and customs of the Aram Sobah Sephardic Community of Brooklyn tradition.
