Mission Statement
Pat’s Place coordinates the investigation, treatment and prosecution of the most serious cases of child abuse in Mecklenburg County, NC. We provide a physical environment where a child’s well-being is our first priority and break the cycle of abuse through training, education and community outreach.
About This Cause
Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center is a safe, child-friendly facility where children and their families receive the help they need to move forward after experiencing abuse. All the healing services that children need – forensic interviews, medical care, advocacy support and counseling – are provided by experienced child abuse professionals in one safe location. Pat’s Place is modeled on the simple but powerful concept of coordination between community agencies and professionals involved in the system of child protection.
