Our services are unique, long-term, self-sustainability based and a holistic approach to the participants essential needs. A main thrust of the effort of increasing visibility within the communities of those being served and challenged by poverty and/or criminalized behaviors will be through the development of effective relationships with other social service providers such as court systems, detention centers, jails, probation officers, and the prison system. These are the “front line workers” who are in the best position to make referrals to people who are truly in need of the services. By developing a relationship with these organizations, a constant flow of participants can be provided with a continuity of care. The F.A.C.E. organization, has campaigned to develop visibility within the community for both client as well as fundraising. Activities such as participation on radio shows, television, sponsorship of one-day events/seminars, and other public events. These networking ideas have utilized Face Inc. to give a presence to Transitional Housing within the community as the effective and reliable leadership organization. Fundraising efforts are made more efficient when people know about Transitional Housing and the positive work they are doing.
