About This Cause
At Agape Development, we are transforming our neighborhood by preparing Christ-following, independent, community leaders in the OST/South Union neighborhood. Through our core values, we receive power and direction from the redemptive life and message of Jesus Christ. We listen to the community first as primary stakeholders of their restoration. We create opportunities for individuals regardless of their circumstances. We empower our community for sustainability rather than dependency. Our programs are reflected in these values as we serve the community through our children, teen, young adult, and adult ministry, along with our branching areas of service in housing, workforce employment, and social enterprise. At Agape Development, we come together as a community with our neighbors to break the generational and societal barriers of poverty and oppression and address our community's specific brokenness with our Agape approach.
