Mission Statement
SCRAM is a non-profit, 501c3 tax exempt, all-volunteer, animal welfare organization. *We take in, foster and socialize cats/kittens to be good house pets. *We provide for vet care as needed and have the animals spay/neutered. *We prepare these pets for adoption to good homes where the animals' needs and nature are respected. *We educate about proper pet care. *We advocate for animal interests and to ensure animal protection laws are properly enforced. *We work with the media to bring attention to animal issues and raise awareness about the need for change
About This Cause
Our mission is to always focus on what we can do to improve the life of an animal in need, to meet with our politicians and discuss the laws and how the need for change is desperately needed, to educate the public on the importance of spay/neuter and proper pet care, to educate children on the importance of respecting animals and empower them with information they can use to educate others. We dedicate our lives to helping those animals who's cries for help fall on deaf ears and respond to cats who are suffering by taking them into our organization where all their needs will be met to prepare them for the Best part of their life. Our society is one where people are desensitized and we feel we need to bring reality back into the public eye when it comes to stray, feral, abused, abandoned or surrendered cats. We give them tools on how they can help make a difference and advocate for those who haven't a voice that can be heard. We are proud of the work we have dedicated our lives to and hope for the day our help will no longer be needed.
